Fry the Coop is giving away free chicken. To celebrate the new Prospect Heights opening, fans of Fry the Coop can stop by on Monday, November 23rd from 6pm – 8pm for free food via drive-thru (one meal per person). The Prospect Heights location is one of two new locations Fry the Coop is opening in the Chicago suburbs, the first to have drive-up service.

Located at 580 North Milwaukee Avenue, Fry the Coop in Prospect Heights will host a soft opening Tuesday, November 24 & Wednesday, November 25 from 5pm – 8pm. The restaurant is a free-standing building with a drive-thru window and cashiers outside. The 3200 square-foot space will have 76 seats in the dining room with additional patio seating outside. The Prospect Heights Fry the Coop location officially opens Tuesday, December 1st and will be open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 5pm – 9pm.

“We’re incredibly thankful that we’re able to continue expanding,” says owner Joe Fontana. “We’re excited to bring our chicken to new corners of the Chicago area, including the north side in Prospect Heights. We already have loyal customers from the south suburbs at our Oak Lawn location and now we’re bringing the chicken to them in Tinley Park!”

The Tinley Park location is planned to open Winter 2020 and will be located at 16703 South Harlem Avenue. The restaurant will take over the space where Fajitas Mexican Restaurant previously called home. The 2800 square-foot space will have 62 seats with a full drive-thru window on the corner of a strip center.

Both restaurants will temporarily only serve via drive-thru, takeout, and delivery orders. The dining rooms of all Fry the Coop locations will remain closed until further notice.

Fry the Coop is located in Oak Lawn (5128 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453; 708.576.8645), Elmhurst (623 West North Avenue, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126; 630.359.5223), and Chicago-West Town (1529 West Chicago Avenue, 312.600.6198).
