Frontier will celebrate their 6th Annual Shuck Off competition on Sunday, August 28 from 3-6pm. The competition will feature local chefs from Chicago’s top restaurants who will compete in four rounds of head-to-head oyster shucking. WGN-TV's Chicago’s Best host, Elliott Bambrough, will emcee the event, alongside a panel of three ‘expert’ judges who will judge the chefs based on the quantity of oysters shucked, ability to fully shuck the oyster, and cleanliness of the shuck.
Festivities will start before the shucking begins, with a ‘Pre-Shuck Shrimp Boil’ at 12PM. The $25/person ticket includes Chef Brian Jupiter’s famous all-you-can-eat Shrimp, Corn, and Potatoes. Additional specials include $5 Abita Craft Beers, $6 Craft Cocktails, $7 Char-grilled Oysters (3 to an order), and $15 Chef’s Choice Dozen Oysters.
