Fare Concepts will be offering drive-up service at their better burger restaurant, Fresh Stack Burger Co (20413 N Rand Rd in Kildeer Village Square) starting at 11:00 a.m. on Monday September 14th. The concept from Sean Thomas, (grandson of Wendy’s Founder Dave Thomas) and other industry veterans, features a variety of made-to-order options, from burgers and hand-breaded chicken sandwiches and tenders (hormone-free and fresh, never frozen) to shakes, gourmet salads and sides.
The Fresh Stack menu was developed by Thomas and his co-founders under the guidance of chef Fabio Viviani, founder of Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group, a former contestant on “Top Chef,” as a partner in the project.
“We’re excited to offer this new drive-up service to the community, says Thomas. These times call for us to think in new ways – and although we’re not a fast food restaurant, we realize that consumers are looking for on-the-go convenience and safety. We’ve installed a drive-up menu board and orders will be taken by one of our team members who will safely take credit card payments. Since our food is not pre-made, we ask our guests to be patient as each order is made fresh – wait times will be about 10 minutes.”
Drive-up guests can order any menu from the Fresh Stack menu and can customize their order. Alcoholic beverages will not be available for drive-up guests, and to ensure safety during the on-going pandemic, canned soft drinks will replace fountain drinks.
