The Fourth of July is just around the corner! Below we’ve made a list of festive offerings for celebrating around the city:

Rye Deli and Drink

For catering, check out Rye’s large format options -- featuring ‘Super Duper Sandwich Samplers,’ cocktail kits and more. The West Loop deli’s new bagel sandwiches, classic slow-smoked pastrami, and homemade dips are perfect for on-the-go weekend bites. To order pickup or delivery, visit their Tock.

Soul & Smoke

Soul & Smoke’s signature, slow roasted and smoked BBQ catering trays (half and full pans) of smoked beef, pork, chicken, and side dishes, plus large format cocktail options are available to order for weekend festivities. (Served cold with at-home heating instructions). To order pickup, visit their Tock.

Cabana Club and Cafe Robey

Cabana Club provides rooftop views with poolside drinks and bites, plus a Beer Braised Bratwurst special (caramelized onions, sauerkraut and mustard with chips for $11) Cabana Club is open daily at 11 am, on a first come, first served basis.

Milk Money Brewing 

Executive Chef Matt Bumba has crafted grilling kits for celebrating this weekend with locally produced meats. Plus, their beer and wine packages are the perfect grilling companion!

Daisies 

Although they will be closed on July 4th, the restaurant’s market retail offerings are options for pre-holiday fridge stocking and picnic provisions. 

The Bristol

Executive Chef Larry Feldmeier has curated a cookout menu, including the option to wash it all down with a handcrafted summertime cocktail. 

  • BBQ At Home Package, $145 (serves 4). 

    • Spare Ribs, Carolina BBQ Sauce

    • Whole Marinated Chicken, Chimichurri

    • Cornbread, Honey Butter

    • Corn on Cob, Elotes Dressing

    • Coleslaw, Onion Aioli

  • ‘Watermelon Sugar’ Growler, $32 (serves 4)

    • A warm-weather cocktail with just enough sweetness to balance out a savory barbecue feast. Features: Plantation White Rum, Bols Watermelon Liqueur, House-Squeezed Watermelon Juice, House-Squeezed Lime Juice Simple Sugar, Watermelon Rind Saline Solution.

  • Preparation: proteins to be grilled or baked at home; sides served ready to eat. Instructions will be provided.

  • Ordering: Visit their website or Tock to place your order by tomorrow, July 1. Pick up is Saturday, July 3 between 12-3pm.

Tree House

Tree House is a vibrant, plant-filled oasis in the heart of Chicago’s River North neighborhood. 

  • Menu details: Take advantage of having Monday off after the holiday by indulging in their bottomless mimosas during lunch service. Enjoy woodfired pizzas and Italian-inspired appetizers while sipping creative, summery cocktails on the patio.

  • Hours: Sundays from 12pm-3pm

BLVD Steakhouse

The West Loop steakhouse is offering a Grilling Kit to make your 4th of July spectacular. The Grilling Kit includes: your choice of two Prime Steaks, either Bone-In Ribeye, Filet Mignon or NY Strip; 50/50 Mashed Potatoes; Asparagus, Bone Marrow Butter and BLVD Steak Salt. All kits will include grilling instructions from Executive Chef Johnny Besch! Order via TOCK.

El Che Meat & Provisions

El Che Steakhouse & Bar’s retail marketplace is offering everything needed for a successful BBQ with take-home grilling kits. The Weekender Kit ($57) includes a 4 pack short ribs, 2 morcilla links, 2 chorizo links, 4-pack BabyGold Beer—part of his partnership at Berwyn establishment Fitzgeralds—plus 4 oz each of housemade Chimichurri, Chimichurri Rojo, Salsa Criolla. In addition, recreate Chef/Owner John Manion’s meat platter at your home grill with the Parrillada Platter for four ($109): a 12 oz Picanha, 4 short ribs, 2 morcilla links, 2 chorizo links, sweetbreads, 2 marrow bones, bread and Chimichurri, Rojo Chimichurri and Salsa Criolla. Finally, the Beat the Heat Wine Box ($45) offers three South American bottles that are best served chilled. 

El Che Steakhouse & Bar

Chef/Owner John Manion’s Argentine steakhouse recently evolved its wine program to feature an exclusively South American list—one of the only places in the US to commit to serving only South American wines. Pais is a summer red wine that was the first grape brought from the old world in the mid 16th Century. Pairing perfectly for the 4th of July weekend, and beverage director Alex Cuper is offering a variety available by-the-glass June 29 through July 3. Examples of the Pais wines on special include: J. Bouchon 'Viejo', 2019 Maule Valley ($12/glass); Cacique Maravilla Pipeno, 2019 Bio Bio ($13/glass); Vinateros Bravos 'Volcanico', 2020 Itata Valley ($14/glass); and Roberto Henriquez 'Rivera del Norto', 2018 Itata Valley ($14/glass).

Recess

Celebrate this 4th of July weekend in Chicago at Recess—live music from DJs on Friday 7/2 and Saturday 7/3 night indoors, or start your day early on one of the 500+ seats on the patio. To commemorate the holiday weekend, Recess is also hosting a special Photo Contest on their Instagrammable patio. The Smith

In the heart of River North, diners can sip on frozen cocktails such as the French 75 Slushie and more on their patio. After cocktails, indulge in The Smith’s signature skillet roasted Mac & Cheese, Spicy Salmon Tartare, Veggie Royale Burger, and more. Diners can also order The Smith’s “Weekend Sunset” menu featuring $3 oysters, Little Gem Caesar Salad, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and more.

Miller's Ale House 

All Illinois locations of Miller’s Ale House is offering 50% off entrées to active military members and veterans with proof of service on July 4th. Miller’s menu offers more than 60 items including Miller’s Zingers, sandwiches, burgers, flatbreads, pastas, steaks, and seafood. All entrées are included in this promotion. Available for dine-in only.

Miki's Park

Celebrate Independence Day with Miki’s Park’s Red White & Blue Drink Package. The bundle includes a trio of Miki's Park's signature cocktails (one red, one white, one blue) for $30. Each bottle serves 2. The special is available Friday, July 2nd - Sunday, July 4th for carryout only. 

Takito Street

Takito Street in Lincoln Park is reveling this Fourth of July with a Fireworks Brunch. Starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 4th, guests can order $15 Bottomless Mimosas, breakfast tacos, and frozen margaritas.              

The Gage

Drink like one of the Founding Fathers and take home The Gage’s Martha Washington Rum Punch (c. 1787) with Plantation O.F.T.D. dark rum, madeira, black tea, orange, lemon, spices for $16. Additionally, those looking to celebrate the long holiday with something sweet can stop by for a Mixed Berry Pie for Two for $16. The Mixed Berry pie features three summer berries, vanilla ice cream, and creme anglaise. Smaller, individual pies will also be available.  

Acanto

Acanto is offering a red, white, and blue themed dessert with its $12 Sour Cherry Panna Cotta featuring yogurt, braised blueberries, and fresh mint. Pair the dessert with a cocktail created in honor of a central figure of the unification of Italy, to commemorate the creation of our own nation. The Garibaldi ($13) is made with Martini & Rossi "Fiero" aperitivo, blood orange, and rosemary sea salt.

Avli

Avli, Chicago’s contemporary Greek dining destinations, will offer grilled meat and seafood platters to-go for prepaid pick-up via Tock or to order in the restaurant this Independence Day, Sunday, July 4. The festive platters will be available at restaurant locations in River North, Lincoln Park and Winnetka. Platter options available include:
