Restaurant Week Italian West Loop

The newly opened Formento's just announced that they will be participating in the 2015 Restaurant Week for dinner only. Guests will now be able to experience the 2-week old restaurant via the 8th annual celebration of Chicago's culinary scene.

The $44/per person menu will run Friday, January 30 - Monday, February 9, and will feature some of the restaurants specialty dishes including the Antipasti Wedge Salad, Canestri with Sunday Gravy and Tutti Fruitti Spumoni. Wine pairings will also be available for an additional $20. Available menu items:

Smothered Garlic Bread

Giardiniera Fritta, Meyer Lemon Crema, Basil

Eggplant Parmesan, Marinara, Mozzarella

Antipasti Wedge, Tuscan Salami, Mortadella, Provolone, Peperoncini

Canestri with Sunday Gravy, Pork Neck Bone, Fennel Sausage

Roasted Chicken Vesuvio, Schmaltz Potatoes, Peas, Chicken Jus

Crespelle of Wild Mushrooms, Swiss Chard & Fontina

Formento's Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Pudding, Hazelnut Praline
