Rewired Pizza Cafe & Bar (Edgewater)

Rewired Pizza Cafe & Bar in Edgewater will offer a “Dad’s Best Friend” pizza and beer specials this Father’s Day. For $32, guests can order a large specialty pizza and a six pack of Lulu Lager. Earlier this year, Rewired partnered with Empirical Brewery to create an exclusive canned “Lulu Lager” brew in honor of Rewired owner Daniel Barat’s rescue dog, Lulu, (@luluslagerchi).

Father’s Day Take and Bake Brunch Kits To-Go will be available from Scratchboard Kitchen in Arlington Heights for pickup on Saturday, June 19. The $100 brunch kit serves four people and has everything needed to reheat and bake a fresh brunch for Dad on Sunday morning.

The kit includes Fruit Salad with lime vinaigrette, Shrimp Aguachile, Breakfast Burritos with scrambled eggs, beans, potato, carnitas, salsa, avocado and cabbage slaw, and Cinnamon Rolls. Add-ons include Biscuits and Gravy, Caviar Board with donut holes and onion dip, and pastry selections including Roasted Strawberry and Rosemary Scones, Wild Berry Pop Tarts, a Gluten Free Butter Rum Loaf with coconut icing, Cherry Vanilla Clafoutis and Biscuits (half dozen).

At Pinstripes, this year’s Father’s Day brunch menu items, priced at $29, feature all-you-can-eat BBQ selections, including Pesto Chicken, Balsamic BBQ Ribs, Grilled Corn on the Cob, Housemade Mac & Cheese, Parmesan Potato Chips, and Fresh Watermelon Slices. You can also enjoy the new spring dishes, featuring an Egg White Omelet, a Lobster & Egg Bruschetta, Steak & Eggs, Chicken & Waffles, and a Smoked Salmon Flatbread.

Bottomless Mimosas or Signature Bloody Mary’s will be offered. Dad may also play a game or two at their bowling or bocce lane.

El Che Steakhouse & Bar, continues to operate its pandemic-born retail outpost, El Che Meat & Provisions. The Father's Day Box is $99 and includes one 32-oz Bone-in Ribeye, a 4-oz jar house-smoked salt, 4-oz jar beef whip and one bottle of 2018 Catena Malbec. 

The Dearborn (Loop)

In honor of The Dearborn’s 5 year anniversary, the team is offering 5 days of specials leading up to Father’s Day. Specials include The Dearborn ‘Chicago’ Dog featuring house made beef sausage, new England hot dog bun, poppyseeds, pickle, dijon mustard, and giardiniera. The Dearborn Charcuterie Board featuring house made chicken liver mousse, country pate, la quercia prosciutto, balsamic prunes, mustard, fresh grapes, curry nuts, and grilled miche. A Pulled Pork Sandwich featuring Smoked pork shoulder, poppyseed bun, coleslaw, dill pickles, and served with house made BBQ sauce. Thrice Cooked Pork Ribs featuring Grilled, smoked and fried baby back ribs, house made BBQ sauce, rainbow slaw, pickles. Lastly, Chef Julianna’s S’mores Cake served with smoked vanilla ice cream.

Robert Et Fils (North Center)

Robert Et Fils, is a restaurant that translates to “Robert and son.” Chef Rob Shaner aimed to honor his father by opening a restaurant in his name and recreating and sharing his experiences of French dining as a family. Robert Et Fils utilizes the essence of old-school French gastronomy with an American playfulness. The patio menu consists of a lighter “Parisian drinking fare” suited for ordering a glass of wine or summer cocktail. Guests will be offered charcuterie boards, cheese plates, mussels, and more. 

Gemini (Lincoln Park)

On June 20th, “Big Ern’s Baby Back Ribs” will be available on the menu and come served with creamy coleslaw, baked beans, and jalapeno cheddar cornbread.

Old Pueblo Cantina (Lincoln Park)

Sister restaurant to Gemini, Old Pueblo Cantina is serving up a special offering in honor of Father’s Day. Guests can order Red Chili Barbacoa served with BBQ Cowboy Beans, Mexican Rice, and Esquites. 

Sophia Steak (Wilmette)

Sophia Steak is offering diners a Salt and Pepper Beef Brisket served with tangy red cabbage slaw, herkimer cheddar mac & cheese, and jalapeno cornbread muffins. For those looking to dine at home, Sophia Steak also offers Grill Kits. 

Grapes and Grains (West Loop)

Located in the West Loop, GG’s offers a wine, whiskey, and cocktail list. Additionally, they have their own “Sabering” room where dad’s can pop the top off a bottle in style. GG’s also features an outdoor patio and has live music on the weekends.

BLVD Steakhouse (West Loop)

Father’s Day on Sunday June 20, BLVD will offer special whiskey flights (typically only available for Whiskey Wednesday) and $1 oysters all day Sunday. 

Andros Taverna (Logan Square)

For Father’s Day, Chef Doug Psaltis will offer a steak special at Andros, paying homage to his own father: growing up eating Greek food, it was always a special treat for Doug’s father to have an American steak. Because of this, Doug has always loved cooking steaks for his father and shares this tradition this year with all the fathers dining at Andros Taverna for Father’s Day. Andros is offering a California Reserve dry-aged ribeye from Flannery Beef—Flannery Beef is a third generation company now run by Bryan Flannery and his daughter Katie. Limited quantities are available; guests may request this special in their dining reservation for June 20.

Farm Bar Lakeview

Lakeview’s farm-to-table restaurant is celebrating dads on their special day with a free Brown Dog Old Fashioned. The Brown Dog Old Fashioned is a Farm Bar staple, using Chicago Spirit Bourbon, Rhine Hall Oaked Apple Brandy, Honey Syrup, Orange Bitters and House Made Brown Dog Farm Black Walnut Bitters made from ingredients fresh off of the restaurant’s very own farm in Wisconsin. Farm Bar will be open from 10 am - 9 pm on Father’s Day, reservations are available now.

Stan’s Donuts & Coffee (Multiple Locations)

For a limited time only, Stan’s Donuts & Coffee is bringing back the Maple Bacon Donut. Available at all 14 Stan’s stores across Chicagoland, the Maple Bacon Donut will only be available Father’s Day weekend on Saturday and Sunday. 

The Blackstone (Loop)

The “Barbers, Bowties and Bourbon“ package at The Blackstone is bookable June 18 through 20, the special includes luxury suite accommodations, complimentary Self-parking, a K’Alma Spa in-room treatment, dinner at Mercat a la Planxa, and breakfast at Eleven City Diner. But that’s not all, “Barbers, Bowties and Bourbon“ involves an exclusive experience within The Barbershop that offers dad custom styling with Nicholas Joseph and a haircut and shave by Van Buren Gentlemen's Salon all while he sips on Koval Distillery cocktails and listens to a set by a local jazz band.

Funkenhausen (West Town)

Funkenhausen is serving up the ultimate offering for Dad's! Offered for both brunch and dinner on Sunday, June 20th, dad's can indulge in a $36 full rack of ribs special that is served with a beer of their choice.

Travelle at The Langham (River North)

The restaurant will be offering Father’s Day Grill Kits.

Choose from a variety of protein selections, including the Travelle Burger deconstructed with Wagyu Beef ($85) Prime Fillet Mignon ($40), Prime NY Strip ($39), Bone-in Ribeye ($50), and Baja Striped Bass ($50). Each kit comes with grilling instructions from Travelle Chef de Cuisine Qi Ai, along with seasonings and a choice of two Travelle sauces.

Finger Licking Foodie Tours

Finger Licking Foodie Tours just launched in Chicago and for the Dad that loves food - especially pizza - with the Self-Guided Deep Dish Pizza Tour. The VIP tour stops at three different Deep Dish Pizza restaurants over two hours including Gino's East, Lou Malnati's, and Pizzeria Uno. You'll be able to skip the wait and will be served a slice of the cheesy pizza hot and fresh within ten minutes of sitting down instead of the usual 45-minute wait.

The Deep Dish Pizza Tour is $65 per person and is available to book daily from 11 am - 6 pm. A Beverage add-on featuring local Chicago brews at each location is also available.

Smith & Wollensky (River North)

For those that want to give the grill-master a break this year with a steakhouse experience, let Smith & Wollensky Chicago prepare the cut of beef to celebrate with their centerpiece Snake River Farms Swinging Tomahawk Ribeye. At 44 ounces, this dry-aged American Wagyu was created by Chef Matt King as a nod to the old school tradition of butchery and hanging beef. Swinging on a custom designed rack, the tender steak for two is charred and sliced table-side for an interactive dining experience. Served with crispy beef fat potatoes, the ribeye fit can be shared with table guests or  as an entrée. 

Alternatively, S&W at HOME packages are available for family gatherings at home, ranging from backyard grilling packages for 4 to holiday roasts that serve 4-6 guests. Pre-order feasts such as USDA Prime Rib Roast or Tenderloin Roast online for in-restaurant pick up or call the restaurant directly for last minute orders (allow 24 hours advance notice).
