If you missed Farm Bar’s Honey Fest in August, this fall they’re celebrating the season with their first-ever Good Apple Days, taking place October 2-4 at both their Lakeview and Ravenswood locations!

The three-day celebration will spotlight apples from Brown Dog Farm, owned by Farm Bar’s owner TJ Callahan, with a limited-time menu of autumn-inspired dishes and drinks. Highlights include Autumn Apple Pork Belly Bites with apple butter BBQ sauce, Apple Cider Bruschetta with apple and Brussels sprout caponata, prosciutto and stracciatella, an Autumn Apple Salad, and an applewood-smoked short rib with apple molasses and apple demi-glace. Guests can also add a side of Brown Dog Farm Apple Butter.

Apple-forward drinks and desserts include a Caramel Apple Sundae, Cider Sangria, Orchard Spritz, Brown Dog Farm’s Johnny Mac Cider made exclusively with apples grown at the farm, Beets By J., and Hot Apple Cider. Families can also enjoy a decorate-your-own apple dessert with caramel, chocolate sauce and chocolate chips.

To top it off, every guest will receive a sealed Good Apple Days “Bounce-Back Envelope” with their bill, with every envelope containing a guaranteed prize to encourage a return visit before the end of the year. Prizes range from discounts and complimentary dishes to gift cards, Farm Bar merchandise, a free Thanksgiving To-Go Dinner, and even the chance to adopt an apple tree at Brown Dog Farm. Envelopes must remain sealed until guests return and open them with a Farm Bar server or bartender. Good Apple Days runs Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4 at both Farm Bar locations. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.
