Farm Bar Introduces Farm Bar Events, a New Rooftop Private Event Space Now Hosting in Ravenswood

The team behind the neighborhood farm-to-table restaurant, Farm Bar Ravenswood, announces the launch of Farm Bar Events, a newly reimagined rooftop private event space located at 1970 W Montrose Ave. this spring. Formerly home to ARRIBA Rooftop, the space enters a new chapter, shifting from a casual rooftop bar into a more intentional setting for curated gatherings and celebrations. 

As with many independent restaurants navigating an increasingly complex industry, Farm Bar Ravenswood continues to make decisions that prioritize sustainability, team wellbeing, and consistency of experience. The transition to a dedicated event space allows for a more focused use of the rooftop while maintaining the spirit of hospitality the brand is known for. 

“This shift allows us to be more intentional with how we use the space,” said co-owners TJ Callahan and Ferdia Doherty. “It gives us the opportunity to create more meaningful, personalized experiences for our guests while continuing to operate in a way that supports the long-term sustainability of our business”. 

The rooftop at Farm Bar Ravenswood is now available for event inquiries such as rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, corporate outings, brunch gatherings, holiday celebrations, and neighborhood-based events. Each experience is tailored to the guest, with an emphasis on moments that feel both personal and memorable. Guests can expect the same elements of Farm Bar Ravenswood – farm-driven cuisine, hospitality and community – now translated into a rooftop setting designed specifically for celebrating life’s moments, big or small. 

What continues to ground Farm Bar through each evolution is its connection to Brown Dog Farm, the working Wisconsin farm owned and operated by co-owner, TJ Callahan. The farm supplies seasonal produce, fruits, and honey that shape the restaurant’s menus, ensuring each event reflects the same commitment to quality, seasonality, and integrity that defines the Farm Bar experience. This connection carries seamlessly into Farm Bar Events, where guests can expect farm-driven offerings that elevate every gathering.
