Chicago-based Farmheads Group, operators of Farm Bar in Lakeview and Farmhouse in Evanston, are bringing a new definition to their usual farm-to-table approach. This time, the local restaurant group is bringing guests farm-to-tap with the launch of their new Farmer’s Berry Tan beer.

In partnership with Temperance Beer Co. in Evanston, Farmheads used honey and raspberries sourced directly from Farmheads co-owner TJ Callahan’s Brown Dog Farm in Wisconsin to develop the new honey raspberry Belgian-style Trippel. At 8 percent ABV, this brew leaves fresh raspberry on the nose with tart raspberry on the first sip and lingering notes of honey before finishing with subtle spice from the Belgian yeast and warmth of alcohol - a great flavor combination for fall.

The new beer is available now in 12oz pours at both Farm Bar and Farmhouse.
