Chicagoans looking to fuel the romantic fire can look to the American clubhouse,
Tortoise Club. With rich, wood-paneled accents and roaring fireplaces
casting a glow year-round, the venue provides the backdrop for a romantic dining experience. In addition
to serving their regular, American menu, Tortoise Club will
also offer a number of Valentine’s Day specials for sharing with
that special someone - including the
Pistachio Crusted Red Snapper ($46.95), served alongside a lobster and black trumpet mushroom gnocchi, or the venue’s
Surf & Turf ($38.95), which features a six-ounce filet served alongside shrimp scampi.
Also, as an added element, Tortoise Club will feature live jazz music and dancing – complete with the
Mark Burnell Trio kicking-off at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday (2/13), and the
John Wade Band performing on both Friday (2/12) and Sunday (2/14) at 7:30 p.m.
