What to watch: "First Draft" Soft Opening at City Works Eatery & Pour House in Vernon Hill October 12
City Works Eatery & Pour House (929 N. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills) is inviting diners to preview the brand new restaurant with its “First Draft” Soft Opening Charity Event on Saturday, October 12th. From 6-9 P.M., guests will be able to explore the new restaurant and the full food menu with bites such as Ahi Tuna Tacos, Smoked BBQ Ribs, and Cauliflower Steak, and try one of their 90 craft beers on tap while supporting Northern Illinois Food Bank, an organization that supports access to nutritious food, advanced feeding programs, and solving hunger in Northern Illinois. During the event, local artist (Sub)urban Warrior (@sub_urban_warrior) will create a 5’x6’ painting to be raffle off at 8:30 P.M. with all proceeds benefiting the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
Tickets to the First Draft soft opening are priced at $45 per person and can be purchased online here with 100% of the ticket sale proceeds going towards Northern Illinois Food Bank.
