For Election Night on Tuesday, November 3, Chicago restaurants and bars are offering Election Day carry-out options for those watching the race from home. Whether it’s celebrating the win or using food and drinks to distract from the results, consider these take-out options to mark the momentous event. 

The Dawson | 730 West Grand Avenue, Chicago

  • Either side of the aisle, it’s clear that alcohol will be a necessity this electoral night. The Dawson bar is offering 8oz (serves 2) cocktails to-go. Choose from tried and true favorites like the G.T.O. with gin, vermouth, grapefruit, lime, thyme, and hopped bitters or the Some Like It Hot with tequila, lime, orange, agave, and habanero. Orders are available for pick-up and can be made through Tock.

Miki’s Park | 109 W Hubbard St

  • Those having a viewing party of their own can cater the event with Miki’s Park’s Bang Bang Basket ($30), Buddha Basket ($40), and festive Red, White and Blue Cocktail kit ($30)—a trio of signature cocktails, one in each color, with each bottle serving two. Each basket feeds five people and allows guests a myriad of options:

Orders can be placed in advance for pre-order by calling (312) 526-3511, or guests can swing by and place their order in person, 24 hours advance is requested but not required.
