Awaken your palate, and your love this Valentine’s season with El Tapeo Modern Spanish Kitchen, located at 2100 Spring Road in Oak Brook, Illinois. The modern Spanish restaurant, located on the ninth floor of Le Méridien Chicago – Oakbrook Center, will feature live entertainment, an exclusive a la carte menu, a chef curated dinner for two, and a romantic takeaway to make the evening unforgettable. The chef dinner for two will be available on Saturday, February 10 and Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
The chef dinner for two includes a choice of three tapas, two entrees, and a sweet dessert to share. Couples can choose from tapas selections like the highly popular Datiles, fried medjool dates, marcona almonds, and cherry-wood bacon; Foie Gras, white peach puree, pistachio, cognac figs, arugula, and seared foie gras; Coca, tomato jam, goat cheese, arugula, and flatbread; Alitas de Cerdo, three miniature pork shanks, and orange-jalapeño glaze and more. Main entrée options include Paella de Diablo (half order), spicy chorizo, shrimp, chicken, peas, peppers, onions, saffron rice, and spicy aioli; Pollo al Alijillo, pan roasted boneless half amish chicken, garlic, white wine, roma tomatoes, and arugula; and Surf y Pasto for Two (counts as 2 entrees in package or $50 a la carte), 6 oz. waygu carne asada, braised red cabbage, salsa verde; and a split 6oz lobster tail, citrus goat butter, paprika, and manchego grits. Couples then finish on a sweet note with a dessert from a selection of Chef’s creations.
The dinner for two price is $140 per couple (exclusive of tax and gratuity), and includes one glass of sparkling per person. In addition, couples may select a special beverage pairing for an additional $60 including craft cocktails tailored to specific menu items offered, served as pairings with the package, or purchased a la carte.
