El Tapeo Modern Spanish Kitchen, 2100 Spring Road in Oak Brook, Illinois, is continuing their Tour De Spain Series on Thursday, April 26th at 6 p.m. The gathering place, located on the ninth floor of Le Méridien Chicago – Oakbrook Center, is hosting a five-course modern Spanish dinner paired with Spanish wine and cocktails - with only eight seats available at each event.

Tour De Spain allows each attendee to discover five different regions of Spain with El Tapeo’s Award-winning Executive Chef, Matthew Cappellini, as their guide. The dinner will begin on the west coast of the country by Portugal and make its way to the middle before moving back up to Barcelona. From there, the meal will go to Valencia, the paella region, and then will finish with a traditional light dessert. This exclusive, monthly dinner includes a variety of food items from El Tapeo’s Spanish-inspired menu of small plates, paella, meats, and seafood. In addition to this, each course is paired with Spanish wine and cocktails.

The dinner for eight is $85 per person (plus tax and gratuity). There is a $50 non-refundable deposit required to secure reservation. Additional dates for Tour De Spain are Thursday, May 17th and Thursday, June 14th at 6 p.m.

In addition to Tour De Spain, El Tapeo hosts a variety of other weekly events in the restaurant space. One of these events is Paella Night, which occurs every Friday night. This event features a live Chef demo in the dining room of Paella of the Chef’s Choice for $18 per person from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
