Latest update: El Che Steakhouse & Bar Hosts Dope Art Show For Special Holiday Market with Local Makers, Dec. 19
This December 19, El Che Steakhouse & Bar will host a special holiday pop-up market at its West Loop location, from 5-9pm. The restaurant will partner with Dope Art Show and Birria Ta-Ta-Tacos for a free event to showcase a wide variety of goods from local artisans. Specialty products from El Che Meat & Provisions, like Smithey Ironware and Town Cutler Knives, will also be available for purchase during the event. Birria Ta-Ta-Tacos will serve its beef and veggie quesatacos in tandem with cocktails from El Che’s Bar Team.

El Che’s Assistant General Manager, Liz Cook, founded Dope Art Show in 2018 with friend and local street artist, Diego Aguilar. The pair has regularly hosted Dope Art Show for more than two years with the mission of offering art-focused community events throughout Chicago where artwork is available at approachable prices for all demographics and 100 percent of sales from the artwork will go directly to the artists.
