El Che Steakhouse & Bar, the Argentinian-influenced steakhouse in the West Loop, is teaming up with Brian Ravitsky, owner and operator of Brazos Imports for a five-course wine dinner on June 16th. Brazos Imports works with growers located in sub-regions of Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. Additionally, they focus on artisan, single vineyard, small production, estate-grown, eco-friendly wines. The wines Brazos Imports represents all share a terroir-centric style. Wine dinner guests will have the chance to taste these exclusive wines, with tasting notes and helpings of knowledge from Brian Ravitsky himself.
The dinner begins at 6:30pm on June 16th. Reservations are available on Tock. Tickets are $125.00 a person and include four courses plus a dessert, and wine tastings such as:
Grillos Cantores Mi Nena Corinto and Grillos Cantores Mi Nena Corinto 'Velo de Flor'.
Escala Humana Malvasia: An Orange wine made from ancient Mediterranean grapes from high up in the Andes.
Vina González Bastías 'Matorral' País: From Chile's oldest continuous family owned Heritage Pais vineyards with vines over 200 years old
Stella Crinita Barbera: The wine that inspired the team at El Che to offer a wine list made up of only South American wines
