This October, El Che Steakhouse & Bar will host a one day pop-up event celebrating local artists in the Chicago community at its West Loop location. In partnership with Dope Art Show and Birria Ta-Ta-Tacos, El Che will showcase a group of 15 local artists with varying artistic styles and mediums and all of the sales of artwork will go directly to the artists. Birria Ta-Ta-Tacos will serve its beef and veggie quesatacos in tandem with cocktails from El Che’s Bar Team.

El Che’s Assistant General Manager, Liz Cook, founded Dope Art Show in 2018 with friend and local street artist, Diego Aguilar. The pair has regularly hosted Dope Art Show for more than two years with the mission of offering art-focused community events throughout Chicago where artwork is available at approachable prices for all demographics and 100 percent of sales from the artwork will go directly to the artists.
