Edie’s All Day Café & Bar (Edie’s), a café and bar located in the Wells corridor of Chicago’s River North neighborhood at 675 N Wells St., is distributing 500 meals to Chicago’s homeless community on Christmas Day. In partnership with the Kadens Family Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to closing the pervasive wealth and education gaps in the U.S., starting at 11am, Edie’s will prepare and serve the meals from its kitchen to help individuals in need during this especially challenging holiday season. Attendees will receive a complimentary Christmas brunch with their choice of yogurt parfait or overnight oats, in addition to a pastry, fruit, snack bar and a beverage.
