To celebrate the 18th season of the Tour de Fat festival, Easy Bar and New Belgium Brewing are set to host a "Tour de Fruit" party on Wednesday, July 19 at 9 p.m featuring a watermelon carving contest on the patio (weather permitting). The person with the most creative carving will win a pair of tickets to Tour de Fat on July 29 at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island. Watermelon carving supplies are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Along with complimentary sweet and savory watermelon salads, featured New Belgium Beer specials include:
Juicy Watermelon ($6.50)
Citradelic Tangerine IPA ($6.50)
Passion Fruit Voodoo Imperial IPA ($7)
Transatlantique Kriek sour ale ($8)
Additional Wednesday specials include FREE pool, half-price Easy Bar signature cocktails, $3 select craft cans, and happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring half-off everything (except shots).
