The New Lineup

Toro is offering a limited-time menu and interactive experience from October 6 through November 3.

Toro is celebrating through the lens of El Sol, the sun, revered in Mesoamerican tradition as the origin of corn, fire, color, and time. Embracing ancestral ingredients, the restaurant will be transformed into a place of remembrance and connection. At the center of this celebration is a glowing ofrenda, where guests are invited to add the name of a loved one to the altar and join in honoring the lives, stories, and light that continue to guide us.

Honoring the marigold's role as the "flower of the sun" used to create golden paths for returning souls, Toro has also crafted an exclusive food and beverage menu tied to these sun-driven elements:

The "El Sol" Cocktail Collection:

  • Saffron Sour // Mezcal, saffron syrup, cinnamon liqueur, tangerine, lime, and Fee Foam.
  • Elote Mezcalita // Mezcal, lime, tamarind, Nixta corn liqueur, totomoxtle salt, and charred baby corn.
  • Punch Calavera // Hibiscus, cinnamon tea, guava, orange, and marigold petals.

Featured Culinary Specials:

  • Luz de Mar Tiradito // Salmon and sea bass accompanied by mango relish, sweet potatoes, and marigold.
  • Fuego del Sol // Achiote-braised short rib, charred poblano cheese enchilada, plantain purée, zucchini blossom sauce, roasted baby green zucchini, and afilla cress sprouts.
  • Amanecer // A rich piloncillo pumpkin crème brûlée.

Reservations can be made on OpenTable.
