Drawl Launches Whiskey Room Book Club

Drawl Southern Cookhouse & Whiskey Room (2423 N Clark St) kicks off their new book club series this February 2019.

On the last Wednesday of every month from 6:30pm-7:30pm, bookworms, and whiskey lovers are invited to enjoy passed appetizers and a sponsored cocktail in the Whiskey Room while delving into the book of the month. Drawl Book Club Members are encouraged to stay for dinner post book club meeting and will receive 20% off their bill for the entire month of February.

February’s book is the New York Times Bestseller, "Where The Crawdads Sing". Delia Owens’ freshman novel tells the story of Kya Clark, a young woman from rural 1950’s North Carolina and her celebration of nature. This mysterious coming-of-age story explores the desolate marshlands of the Carolina coast through the lens of a forgotten girl, and how she learns to trust and love humanity again. 

The first book club meeting is February 27 6:30pm-7:30pm.
