The team behind Dollop Coffee Company is bringing its next concept to life in the South Loop. Dollop Café, Bar & Kitchen will open at 8 a.m. on April 28, at 1210 S. Indiana Ave., Chicago, in the NEMA Chicago Building. The new concept will feature full table service, all-day breakfast and lunch and Dollop’s signature coffee bar and pastry services for those on-the-go. The South Loop cafe will feature a number of new specialty coffee drinks including: the Orange Creamsicle Cold Brew (cold brew, orange zest, oat milk, and vanilla), Blue Milk Latte (vanilla mint, cold brewed pea flower tea, cold foam oat milk), and a refreshing Strawberry Lemongrass Matcha (strawberry lemon grass blend, matcha tea, and oat milk). Signature food items include Chicken and WafflesFried Egg Breakfast SandwichesPorcini Biscuits & GravyChilaquiles, and Smash Burgers as well as fresh-made vegan donuts. The restaurant was designed by Moss Design and features a mural by artist Emmy Star Brown. 

Dollop Food and Beverage Director Keith Kreuser, leads the food and beverage program at this new 70-seat spot. The Dollop Café, Bar & Kitchen experience includes coffee, breakfast, lunch, Bloody Marys, craft beer and mimosas. Dollop’s own Anne Shirley Capman has created a line of coffee drinks exclusively for this location.

“We wanted to try and create an ideal day/night spot here with this concept at the Nema building,” says owner Dan Weiss. “The South Loop is exploding with new bars, restaurants, breweries and more. We are so excited to bring this new concept to the neighborhood and be part of its growth. We will ease into being a nighttime place as well as a daytime coffee destination. We are excited to develop this aspect of the Dollop vibe.”

Dollop Café, Bar & Kitchen is the 19th location in owner Dan Weiss's Dollop family and will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Delivery via ordering apps and a full cocktail program will debut in May along with extended evening hours.
