Dolci Amori, a traditional Italian Pasticceria, has announced its third location which is now open in Chicago’s River West neighborhood at 494 N. Milwaukee. With two locations which opened earlier this year (Wicker Park - 2010 W. Piece & Lakeview - 3025 N. Clark), this is part of an expansion for Founder Ciro Longobardo.

Longobardo, who is also co-owner of Piccolo Sogno in Chicago, is inspired by the traditional "Italian Pasticceria" and "Rosticceria,” that he frequented when he lived in Italy. The former Maillard Tavern space has been transformed into Dolci Amori (meaning sweet love in Italian) with a twist, offering traditional Italian pastries, as well as an aperitivo experience featuring savory small plates and cocktails, for coffee and pastries by day and Happy Hour by night.

Eyes are drawn to the cases filled with pastries to be taken home or chosen in the shop with a coffee. Guests can also pull up a seat at the bar or one of the marble topped tables to order an  espresso martini or other cocktails to complement the aperitivo.

The restaurant and pasticceria is now open daily.
