Context and background: Do Division Street Fest Returns May 29–31 in West Town
Presented by the West Town Chamber of Commerce, Do Division Street Festreturns to Chicago’s West Town neighborhood from May 29 through May 31, bringing three days of live music, local vendors, fashion, food and family-friendly programming to Division Street between Damen and Leavitt (2000–2200 W Division St.). The festival will feature two live music stages curated by Chicago venues The Empty Bottle and Subterranean. The east stage, programmed by Empty Bottle Presents, will showcase diverse and emerging artists, while Subterranean will lead the west stage with a lineup of current and popular acts. Headlining performances include Adrian Younge, Pete & Bas, Wild Pink, Lady Wray, Wombo, and Spitalfield alongside a wide range of local and national talent. Families can enjoy a dedicated Family Fun Fest area featuring a petting zoo, mega slide, live entertainment and kid-focused activities.
Beyond music, Do Division Street Fest highlights Chicago’s local food and retail scene. Guests can explore offerings from neighborhood restaurants, food trucks and vendors, as well as browse West Town retailers, local artists and makers. The festival also features Do Fashion, a runway show organized by Dynamic Salon that spotlights the area’s independent boutiques and fashion-forward businesses.
