Dining Out on National Lobster Day

Attention all lobster lovers! In celebration of National Lobster Day, area restaurants will offer sweet and succulent lobster specials on Wednesday, June 15. From Lakeshore East to Lakeview, a few choice spots are listed below.

III Forks Prime Steakhouse will feature a Texas-style fried Maine lobster tail with homemade remoulade sauce for $65 on Wednesday, June 15. In addition, Executive Chef Cedric Harden's menu offers lobster bisque ($15), lobster mac and cheese ($20) and cold water lobster tail (MP). The Lakeshore East-located restaurant is open on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Tallboy Taco in River North will feature a duo of lobster dishes in celebration of National Lobster Day. On Wednesday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Chef Tim Hockett will offer a lobster taco topped with creamy avocado and tomato salsa ($6), as well as lobster citrus ceviche served with onion and cucumber ($12.95).

Dive Bar, located in Lakeview, will offer their classic lobster roll for $15.99 on June 15. The nautical neighborhood eatery's savory sandwich is made with steamed Maine lobster bites, celery, butter, celery salt and remoulade (regularly $17.99). The restaurant also features lobster bisque ($6.99), steak with grilled lobster tail ($29.99) and lobster tails ($9.99) may accompany any of the seafood boils. Dive Bar is open on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
