As cold weather arrives Chicago, Strings Ramen launches a new winter special: Curry Ramen.

Available at both Strings' Chinatown and Lakeview locations, it begins with Strings' creamy, 48-hour slow-simmered pork bone broth, blended with Japanese curry. From there, the new Curry Ramen is topped with duck breast and beef tongue (Chinatown only), or chicken chashu (Lakeview only) featuring sliced chicken breast seasoned with chili oil and togarashi. Both versions are served with bean sprouts, scallions, red ginger, menma, wood ear mushrooms and Strings' homemade ramen noodles, and priced at $18.95.

Strings Ramen-Chinatown: 2141 South Archer Avenue, Lakeview: 919 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago.
