Cultivate by Forbidden Root, the recently opened outpost for Forbidden Root’s botanic brews at 4710 N. Ravenswood Ave, will launch brunch on Sunday, May 22, and will run every Sunday from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. The menu, created by executive chef Carlos Cruz, features fare including:
The Root, which includes your choice of style of eggs, bacon, and house potatoes
French Toast, with ciabatta, pineapple marmalade, rum panna cotta, candied nuts & seeds
Vegetable Hash, that incorporates seasonal vegetables, truffle vinaigrette, Yukon gold potatoes, sweet potato, and the option to add your choice of any style eggs
A variety of brunch pastries, such as the Banana Coffee Cake, with cinnamon swirl and almonds and a Blueberry Lemon Muffin with streusel topping

The kitchen will close at 2 p.m. and reopen at 4 p.m. for dinner service on Sundays. Beverages will still be available during that time. Brunch will be served every Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. No reservations will be taken for brunch service at this time.
