CPG Restaurant Group, the hospitality group behind Chicago Whiskey Business and Cheesie’s, continues to expand with its latest virtual kitchen launch, Sheffield Kitchen (964 West Belmont Avenue), a delivery only kitchen hosting six different concepts. Located in the Lakeview neighborhood, and available for delivery now, CPG Restaurant Group’s new virtual kitchen will be a delivery only concept offering food to city-goers and delivered to the Chicagoland area.

Sheffield Kitchen will offer city staples including Cheesie’s with its classic “O.G.” grilled cheese sandwich, to Cheesie's sandwiches like “The Popper,” a grilled cheese with cream cheese, jalapeño slices and bacon added to it. In addition, Sheffield Kitchen will add Slice of Cheesie’s, its pizza-by-the-slice concept and four other offerings complementing one another.

In addition to Cheesie’s and Slice of Cheesie’s, CPG Restaurant Group is introducing four new concepts pertaining to the hospitality group’s culinary repertoire with a pierogi concept called G&T Over the Tavern: Pierogi, a “munchies” concept called Broke High and Hungry, burger concept, Bomb Ass Burgers and a wing concept named Tommy Want Wingy. Each new eatery option will pertain to its name with enjoyable menu items all at an affordable price.

“After seeing the success we have had with Cheesie’s and how people have responded to our fun, quirky, munchie-satisfying, concept, we thought, ‘why not have fun with this idea and give the city more of what they love?’” says owner of CPG Restaurant Group, Chris Johnston. “My team and I began with working off Cheesie’s and the demand for a grilled cheese sandwich and then added new concepts like our sweet and savory perogies for the city to have something new to fall in love with.”

About Sheffield Kitchen’s Concepts:

Cheesie’s:

Cheesie’s is one of CPG Restaurant Group’s original concepts offering grilled cheese sandwiches. The Cheesie’s concept was developed when owner Johnston and his friend could not find a location that sold the ultimate grilled cheese and in a short time, Cheesie’s was created. The restaurant will take menu favorites and bring them to Sheffield Kitchen; adding another way to get that grilled cheese sandwich.

Slice of Cheesie’s:

Originating from CPG Restaurant Group’s Cheesie’s, Slice of Cheesie’s is the hospitality group’s sister restaurant to the original concept and offering pizza creations like its Mac Pizza; cheddar cheese with American cheese, topped with mac and cheese and served on a pizza. Slice of Cheesie’s was born after doing a trial run with pizza at CPG Restaurant Group’s flagship Cheesie’s location.

G&T Over the Tavern: Pierogi:

A sweet and savory menu at Sheffield Kitchen called G&T Over the Tavern: Pierogi.

The savory flavored pierogies will include choices like a spinach pierogi, a potato and cheddar pierogi, and a sauerkraut, potato and bacon pierogi. In addition to the savory offerings sweet pierogies will also be offered. Flavors will include cherry pierogies, blueberry pierogies and sweet cheese pierogies. Whether ordering sweet or savory pierogies, G&T Over the Tavern: Pierogi will have the option to add in sweet sauces like apple sauce or savory like sour cream to complement each pierogi.

Broke High and Hungry:

Just what it sounds like, Broke High and Hungry gives the option to order as little as one mozzarella stick, a variety of chicken wings, and mix it in with a few jalapeño poppers, it will not have a specific quantity for each order and allows someone to tailor it to what they are craving. Order as little as or as many as desired with a variety of fried foods. Nothing on the menu is over $3.

Bomb Ass Burgers:

The Bomb Ass Burgers concept will have Chicagoans attesting to being bomb from the classic, “Merica Baby Burger,” a double patty with American cheese and bacon, to “The Fugazi Burger,” a patty with cheese, bacon and a chicken tender, because… why not?

Tommy Want Wingy:

As a member of Chicago Second City and a Midwesterner, Chris Farley, CPG Restaurant Group wanted to pay homage to the comedic legend and name their wing concept after a famous line from Tommy Boy, with Tommy Want Wingy. The wing concept will offer wing flavors like a classic Barbeque and Buffalo to the not-so-classic Garlic Parmesan and Flaming Hot Cheesy Cheeto flavors. Tommy Want Wingy’s menu will also off appetizers like Deep Fried Ravioli and Mini Chicken Tacos and sides of Seasoned and Sweet Potato Fries.

Sheffield Kitchen new concepts are now available to order online at sheffieldkitchen.com/kitchens and delivered throughout the Chicagoland area.
