Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, home to several locations in Chicago and the suburbs as well as nationwide, is supporting their 5,000 employees through a daily meal prep service available at all locations while locations are shut during the COVID epidemic. To help ensure that food is not a concern during these trying and uncertain times, Cooper’s Hawk is making lunch and dinner available to all employees.

Currently, the company is averaging over 7k meals a day company wide and produced 50K meals in the first week. Employees are able to pick up every other day so that they can limit interaction and practice safe social distancing. Meal packages consist of two different dishes crafted from a menu that changes daily. In addition, to the help and support from Cooper’s Hawk multiple food and produce vendors are offering up donations to help them support their employees.

The initiative is staffed by managers and local kitchen staff, who have rallied to feed their local teams. Cooper’s Hawk is enforcing strict social distancing guidelines for pick up and plans to start carry-out food service to patrons early next week. Social distancing measures will be in place and strictly enforced.

Cooper’s Hawk is a brand built on community and celebrating life’s moments over food and wine. To keep the spirit alive, CEO/Founder Tim McEnery hopes by providing food to employees, they can lighten the burden and bring families together for a meal and conversation.
