Cooking Up a Cure, a culinary fundraising event, chaired by Chef Cleetus Friedman to raise money and awareness for the Scleroderma, an autoimmune disease that causes thickening and tightening of skin and supports the Scleroderma Foundation of Greater Chicago, is back. The event, which combines Chicago chefs, breweries, wineries and distilleries returns Thursday, October 27, at Theater on the Lake, located at 2401 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 6:30 p.m. for general admission guests. 

All proceeds from the Cooking Up a Cure event support the Scleroderma Foundation of Greater Chicago’s ongoing mission of providing support, education and research for scleroderma patients and their families.

The event provides guests culinary treats from a line-up of local restaurants, beer, wine and specialty cocktails. Music, silent auction and other surprises will be in store for guests.
