Continue to 'Spread the Warmth' After the Holidays with the Tiesta Tea Foundation

The Tiesta Tea Foundation, is currently gearing up for their annual Spread the Warmth. What is Spread the Warmth you may ask? Spread the Warmth is an event held every January to provide warmth and everyday necessities to our fellow Chicagoans in need. Each year, volunteers from across our community gather together to pass out hot tea and Warmth Kits filled with food and warm clothing items to those in shelters, soup kitchens and on city streets.

The event will take place on January 21, 2022. For more information or to donate, visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/yey.... Every little bit helps! A $10 donation builds one warmth kit which includes a hat, gloves, scarf, snacks and other hygienic items. 

You can also donate clothing including hats, gloves and scarves. Coats will not be accepted. Please send your clothing donations to: 1844 Brummel Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
