Craft Cocktails Special Events American French French American Steakhouse Portage Park

Community Tavern is closing out the first season of its Community Cocktail Series with the last guest mixologist, Jacyara de Oliveira, Bar Manager at Sportsman’s Club on Wednesday, June 3rd. The series has showcased creative and prominent mixologists from Chicago area bars and restaurants. The three-month long series kicked off in April and featured professionals such as Daniel J. Rook and Danielle Pizzutillo.

Craft cocktail enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a special libation created by Jacyara de Oliveira and Community Tavern’s Beverage Director, Jose Cordon. The two paired up to create “Passion Me By” for Community Tavern guests, which will stay on the menu throughout the month of June.

Cordon says, “Jacyara loves working with tequila, and we both wanted something fruity and fizzy for the hot days of June.” The summery punch includes Tequila Ocho, green tea, and passion fruit.

Jacyara de Oliveira is a three-time finalist in Speed Rack Chicago and believes everyone should learn how to make a mean Manhattan. She crafts her cocktails with consistency and close attention to detail, from her pour, down to the garnish.

Patrons can also expect a few inventive food dishes from Executive Chef Joey Beato to pair with the featured cocktail. For more information or to make a reservation, please call Community Tavern at 773-283-6080.
