In celebration of the Columbus Day holiday, KICK restaurant and lounge will hold a special Monday brunch on October 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The North Center neighborhood spot will feature Chef Tim Lavelle's full brunch menu, in addition to a "Monte Crispo" sandwich made with pork belly, over easy egg, Gruyere cheese, french toast and raspberry coulis ($12). A bevy of brunch beverages will be offered, including two types of Bloody Mary's (Verde Maria; Resurrection Mary, $9 each), four different mimosas by the glass (The Original OJ; Southern Peach; Pretty in Pink Grapefruit; Wild Raspberry, $7 each) and a mimosa bucket for $25 (bottle of sparkling with the choice of two juices).
