Restaurant owner, Franco Francese, unveiled his new restaurant, Coarse Italian, on June 17, 2019 at Glenview Park Golf Club. Coarse Italian - co-owned with Francese’s brother, Vito Francese - promises dining experiences for golfers and the general public, alike. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner - as well as breakfast selections during the golf season - and features a full bar. A few menu items include the Charred Caesar salad (featuring charred romaine, croutons, and parmesan dust) and Italian PB & J (bruschetta with goat cheese spread and fig jam).
Franco and Vito Francese also own Mattone Restaurant and Bar in La Grange Park. While Coarse Italian features the same quality ingredients and attention to detail as Mattone, it has a brand new, never-before-seen menu. The name "coarse" is used to represent rustic in nature. Coarse Italian prides itself on its Italian-inspired dishes.
In addition to becoming a fresh Italian dining option for the Glenview community, Coarse Italian is also available for banquets, events, and luncheons. They recently launched a delivery service for a 3-mile radius and, during the month of November, the $5.00 delivery charge is waived with promo code coarsedelivery!
