Clark Street Dog and Bar Announces Hot Dog Month Celebration

To celebrate National Hot Dog Month this July, Clark Street Dog and Bar, an East Lakeview staple since 1977, will feature a new hot dog special every week including A Dog's Breakfast, Mac & Cheese Dog, California Dog and the new Frank and Mary Bloody Mary. 

Guests will also have a chance to win FREE hot dogs for a year. Patrons who take photos of their hot dogs with one of the iconic Clark Street Dog signs and share the photos on Instagram using hashtag #clarkstreetdog will be entered for a chance to win free hot dogs for a year. One winner will be chosen each week in July.

Menu items are always fresh, never frozen and cooked to order. Clark Street Dog and Bar supports the City of Chicago by using local Vienna Beef, Pepsi, Kronos, Gonnella and Alpha Baking.

• Available Always: Frank and Mary Bloody Mary, $10  Served with CH Peppercorn Vodka and garnished with a whole Vienna Beef hot dog, pickle and sport peppers; great for dunking.

• Sunday, July 10 - Saturday, July 16: California Dog, $4.39  Served with house made pico de gallo and topped with chopped onions, tomatoes, cilantro, squeeze of lime and avocado slices

• Sunday, July 17 - Saturday, July 23: Mac & Cheese Dog, $4.39  Vienna Beef hot dog topped with Barilla elbow pasta, Clark Street Dog house brand cheddar 

• Sunday, July 24 - Sunday, July 31: A Dog's Breakfast; $5.39  Grilled natural casing dog, two slices of applewood smoked bacon, topped with a sunny side egg and served on a special sausage roll
