Stan’s will launch breakfast burritos in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. This is the newest addition to their lineup of breakfast items, which launched in the winter and includes their signature Stanwiches, oatmeal, and egg bites. The breakfast burrito will include scrambled eggs, green & red pepper, pepper jack cheese, wrapped inside of a flour tortilla. Each burrito will cost $5.99
Old Pueblo Cantina (Lincoln Park)
Located in Lincoln Park, Old Pueblo Cantina is offering a Cinco De Mayo celebration. Diners can experience a live mariachi band from 4:30pm-9:00pm. Additionally, beginning May 10th, they will be kicking off Mariachi Mondays.
PB&J (West Loop)
On Cinco De Mayo, PB&J is offering diners the opportunity to celebrate with a live mariachi band “Son De Fuego” from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Speciality cocktails including Herradura Paloma and a Pomegranate Herradura Margarita. There will also be an outdoor bar from 3:00pm until 11:00pm.

A celebration for Chef Carlos Gaytan’s Mexican-French outpost, Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Chef Gaytan’s 4-course 5 de Mayo: Where Mexico Meets France menu will reflect an intersection of distinct culinary traditions, offering preparations that include:
Sopes - Squid ink corn masa sope, achiote/butter escargot, black beans, pickled red onion, candied habanero
Coquilles Saint-Jacques - Pan-seared scallops, tamal nejo, roasted serrano beurre blanc, grasshoppers
Duo of Lamb - Rack of lamb coated with Dijon mustard, herbes de Provence, herb crust served with steamed lamb barbacoa, pickled jalapeños, garlic, natural juices, roasted asparagus
Mais et Safran - Sweet corn bread, caramel popcorn, honey toffee, saffron ice cream, cajeta ahumada
Tzuco’s 5 de Mayo menu is available for $100 per person, by reservation via Resy. Tzuco’s a la carte dinner menu will also be available, offering Gaytan’s full selection of Mexican-French inspired fare and a variety of cocktails like the Mole Old Fashioned and Tzuco’s signature Margarita. Seating is available in the Tzuco dining room along with on its all-season patio.
