Celebrate all things Cinco with ceviche and craft cocktails at River North’s neighborhood bar and restaurant Kinmont. Chef de Cuisine Dennis Gutierrez is serving up specialty varieties of ocean-fresh fare favorites just for the occasion, including a Salmon Ceviche with avocado, meyer lemon zest, red onion and dill, a spicy Oyster Ceviche with jalapeno, lime juice, blood orange supreme, and cilantro as well as a Live Scallop Ceviche with pickled red onion, guava, lemon juice and chervil. (9$ for each individual ceviche or $22 for all 3). Bar Manager Rachel Krasnopolsky will be mixin’ Cinco sips, including a Setena 70 with Don Julio tequila and house made jalapeno syrup, topped with prosecco and fresh lime in addition to the Rojo Sol, blended with Don Julio Reposado and fresh blood orange and lime juice, for just Cinco dollars.
