Artango Bar and Steakhouse in Lincoln Square will feature an array of Chef Saul Roman's specialty tacos for $7 during brunch (10 a.m.-3 p.m.) and dinner service (4-10 p.m.) on Sunday, May 5. The selections include veggie, chicken or steak and arrive three to an order. The Argentine restaurant will also celebrate with $7 margaritas (lime; mango; raspberry; passion fruit) along with live Spanish guitar performances from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Fajita Factory in Lakeview will open early at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 5. Guests may enjoy Latin-inspired fare such as chips and dips, fajitas, savory empanadas, and decadent dessert empanadas, along with large-format Latin libations and cervezas served in 20 ounce vessels.
The Chicago Firehouse will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with an all-day fifth of May fiesta. On Sunday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., the South Loop-located restaurant will welcome guests for $10 margaritas made with Espolòn tequila (The Firehouse Margarita; Margarita-Thyme; A Buzzing Jasmine), $4 tacos (halibut; short rib), and $3 chips and dips (guacamole; salsa).
Timothy O'Toole's Pub will welcome Cinco de Mayo celebrants for a boozy brunch in Streeterville from Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5. Starting at 11 a.m. each day, the weekend celebration features a bevy of drink specials, including: $5 pints of Corona and Modelo; $4 cans of Dos Equis; $6 O'Toole's Margaritas; $6 Casa Noble shots; and $8 "Flippy Floppies" cocktails served in souvenir Don Julio sugar skull glassware (Don Julio blanco, blue curacao, agave syrup, lime juice). In addition to the regular menu, Chef Corey Grupe will offer Cinco de Mayo brunch specials from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (steak and eggs; torta milanesa; breakfast tacos; chilaquiles), along with lunch and dinner dishes all day (chicken enchiladas; steak fajitas; tacos; housemade guacamole and more).
Cantina Laredo will hold their annual Cinco de Mayo celebration in the heart of River North on Sunday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The fifth of May fiesta features modern Mexican cuisine, music spun by DJ DaVinci (12-8 p.m.), "Fiesta Flip" margaritas each garnished with a boozy, fruit boat float (Cabo Flip; 3 G’s Please; Sunshine Margarita), and $5 cans of Tecate, dressed with sangrita, lime and salt.
