Cantina Laredo, located in the heart of River North, will hold a Cinco de Mayo celebration on Friday, May 5. The annual fiesta will feature modern Mexican cuisine, music by DJ Todd Rocheford (12-8 p.m.) and mucho margaritas. In addition to Cantina Laredo's extensive margarita menu, three special 'ritas will be offered for the occasion: Tajin Watermelon 'Rita ($5 each on 5/5); La Favorita ($12); and Blood Orange 'Rita ($12).
Prefer to celebrate with a cerveza? Guests may enjoy a bevy of Mexican brews for $3 each (Corona Extra; Corona Light; Dos XX Amber; Dos XX Lager; Modelo Especial; Negra Modelo; Pacifico; Tecate).
Chef Cruz Almanza’s lunch, dinner and lounge menus (featuring table-side guacamole, ceviche, tacos, fajitas, enchiladas and more) will be offered all day.

Tajin Watermelon ‘Rita Sauza Cucumber Chili Tequila, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, Monin Agave Syrup, triple sec, fresh lemon and lime, served with a Tajin-Himalayan sea salt rim and watermelon cubes $12 ($5 each on 5/5)
La Favorita Espolón Reposado Tequila, fresh orange juice and margarita mix, topped with a Grand Marnier lime boat float $12
Blood Orange ‘Rita 1800 Silver Tequila, Cointreau Orange Liqueur, Monin Blood Orange Syrup, margarita mix and cranberry juice, topped with a dehydrated blood orange slice $12
