Cinco de Mayo at Tallboy Taco

Hooray for the fifth of May! On Friday, May 5, Tallboy Taco will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with an array of festive food and drink specials. From 5-7 p.m., the River North taqueria will feature classic Margaritas, spicy Palomas and "Mi Casa Su Casa" cocktails for $8 each (regularly $11; detailed below). For tequila purists, an Avion tequila flight will be offered for $15 and
Avion Blanco and Casamigo Blanco shots will be $10, all day. Cinco de Mayo celebrants may enjoy live Latin beats by resident DJ X from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Leading up to Cinco de Mayo, Tallboy Taco will feature the following "Road to Cinco" specials:

Monday, May 1
Chips, salsa and one taco, $5.

Tuesday, May 2
Two tacos and a Dos XX, $8 all day long. $2 tacos, 5-7 p.m.

Wednesday, May 3
Complimentary chips and salsa with any purchase. Complimentary salsa dance lessons at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 4
Two Tacos and a Dos XX Tallboy, $8. Dos XX will be on site with a Mariachi band.

Friday, May 5

Classic Margarita - Exotico Reposado, cointreau, lime, Brugal anejo
Spicy Paloma - Avion Blanco, serrano peppers, grapefruit, lime, squirt
