Key facts: Chivas Regal and Goya Bring Golden Hour to Chicago

For summer, Chivas Regal, the blended scotch, and Goya, the largest Hispanic owned food company in the US, have announced the release of a Limited Edition “Golden Hour” Cocktail Kit.

The collaboration that brings together two cultures for one golden summer celebration is only available in five U.S. states including Illinois.

The kit combines Chivas 12-Year-Old with the Latin flavors of Goya’s Pineapple Nectar and Coconut Water with recipes to make a Pineapple Gold Rush and Chivas Coco Ice cocktail at home.

Each kit is priced at $31.99 and can be found at key local retailers and on Reserve Bar.

Here's a sneak peek at your new favorite summer cocktail recipes:

Chivas Pineapple Gold Rush 
2 parts Chivas 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky  
1 part Goya Pineapple Juice 
1 part Honey Syrup 
1 part Lemon Juice 
Club Soda Topper (optional) 
Pineapple garnish 

Combine Chivas 12-year-old, Goya pineapple juice, honey syrup, and lemon juice over ice and mix. To make it fizz, add a club soda topper, dash of bitters, and garnish with fresh pineapple. 

Chivas Coco Ice Cocktail 
2 parts Chivas 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky 
1 part Goya Pineapple Juice 
3 parts Goya Coconut Water 
Lime wedge garnish  

Fill a Collins glass with ice, Chivas 12-year-old, Goya pineapple juice and coconut water. Lightly stir and garnish with a fresh lime wedge.
