St. Patrick's Day

The start of spring means time to shake off the winter blues, and celebrate the return of warm weather and Chicago’s favorite shamrock-studded holiday. One of Chicago’s favorite traditions, St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. With the dyeing of the river and St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Chicagoans are sure to find a spot to celebrate.

Mahoney’s Celebrates Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Mahoney’s Pub embraces its roots this Saint Patrick’s Day. The classic Irish sports bar will host an all day Irish fest to celebrate Chicago’s annual St Patrick’s Day parade, one of the largest in the country. Festivities begin early and go late on Saturday, March 11 at Mahoney’s. A tent party on the parade route will rage from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. in the morning, including a Mornin’ Food and Drink Package and live music in the afternoon and evening. The line-up includes Three Men in Kilts, Maggie Speaks, and the Larkin and Moran Brothers, Chicago’s premier Irish music act. Irish dancers and bagpipers will add to the pluck-of-the-Irish spirit as well.
