Chicago's Home Run Inn Donates 5,000 Frozen Pizzas to Chicago Public Schools

Home Run Inn is donating 5,000 6-inch personal sized frozen cheese pizzas to essential workers at 300 Chicago Public Schools.

“Since schools closed as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, our dedicated food service staff has worked tirelessly to serve millions of meals to students across the city. On behalf of CPS, I want to thank Home Run Inn for honoring the hard work of our essential workers,” said Jason Mojica, Director of Operations for CPS Nutrition Support Services.   

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Home Run Inn is committed to feeding more than 75,000 police, fire and hospital first responders and Americans in need throughout the month of April. The company is also donating 5,000 6-inch personal sized frozen cheese pizzas to Big Shoulders Fund to feed children in need of lunches.

Home Run Inn CEO, Dan Costello said, “Serving Chicagoland for more than seven decades, we are fortunate to be able to support those individuals on the frontlines in our communities, especially in this time of great need."
