In addition to selections from a three-course dinner menu, mom can be treated to some wine…including a distinctive red blend packaged in custom etched bottles specifically designed to celebrate mom and Mother’s Day ($39.99), and a special vintage that celebrates strong women – Camille BRAVE ($56.99). Camille BRAVE is the first wine in the series launched by and named for the company’s bold and slightly irreverent VP, Beverage Experience and Master Sommelier, Emily Camille Wines. The wine is the first appellated and vintage dated offering from the winery.
The company is also offering a variety of Mother’s Day gifts, including a number of wine gift sets, glassware, candles and gift cards. Dinner includes options for one entrée serving 4-5 people ($149.99) or two entrees serving 8-10 people ($199.99). Dinners must be pre-ordered by no later than 8pm on Friday, May 8. Customers can choose from curbside or in-restaurant pick up at any of the Chicagoland Cooper’s Hawk locations for May 9 (cold option only) or May 10 (hot and cold options).
Stan's Donuts & Coffee
Beginning on May 6, Stan’s will be hosting a social media giveaway on their Instagram and Facebook channels (@stansdonutschicago) to give 3 lucky Chicago-area moms a dozen free crullers, a bag of Stan’s coffee and a $25 Stan’s gift card to brighten their mornings. To enter, Stan’s fans can look for a Stan’s post on Wednesday, May 6 and tag their mom in the comments. Winners will be announced and contacted on Thursday, May 7 so that the winning moms can start the weekend right with donuts delivered to them that Friday.
On Thursday, May 7 Stan’s will be introducing the newest addition to their donut lineup: crullers. A French-style donut made with eggy choux pastry dough to create an extra light and airy treat, Stan’s cruller is glazed and shaped so each bite's iconic grooves will transport you to a classic donut shop. Stan's crullers will come in three varieties: vanilla glazed ($1.99), chocolate glazed ($2.79), and a rotating seasonal flavor ($2.79). Make Mother's Day extra special this year with a gift from Michelin-Starred Spiaggia.
Spiaggia has partnered with Happy Cabbage, a women-owned and Chicago-based gifting studio, for Mother's Day this year to provide a basket for the most important women in our lives. The gift includes Spiaggia's own olive oil along with a bottle of rosé wine hand-picked by James Beard-nominated sommelier, Rachael Lowe from Spiaggia. Allgauer’s on the Riverfront, a family destination for more than 40 years, has put together a special prix-fixe carryout menu including diner’s choice of select chef-crafted appetizers, salads, entrees, sides and desserts. Among the options include House-Made Crab Cakes, famous Allgauer’s Salad, Grilled Beef Tenderloin and more. For $149.99 and up, each delivery serves four.
