LG’s Bar & Kitchen

Located in the Old Town neighborhood, LG's in-house designed craft cocktails and Irish whiskey selections are paired with their creamy Irish Mac & Cheese. Their recipe favors their Irish roots by including Irish cheeses and bacon as main ingredients, while still being accommodating for vegetarian and gluten-friendly meals. You can expect this mac n' cheese to have rich flavorings of cheese, cream, garlic, and bacon.

Recipe:

  • To begin cooking, roast garlic for a few seconds with melted butter and then add tomato, Irish bacon, caramelized onions, and salt & pepper. Allow these flavors to mix for a few minutes.

  • After, fold in cream and sharp Irish white cheddar and let simmer for two minutes. Your choice of pasta can then be added to the creamy mixture.

  • Once the pasta has cooked al dente and the sauce has thickened, garnish with garlic bread crumbs, melted butter, and parsley.
