Prime & Provisions

With the race being held on a Sunday, the same day Prime & Provisions (222 North LaSalle Street) holds its weekly brunch, the steakhouse will be treating all marathon participants to a complimentary Grand Brunch ($79 value) including bottomless mimosas and bloody marys, which can be redeemed by showing their marathon medal, offered until 3 p.m.

Offerings during the steakhouse's brunch include personalized waffle and omelet stations, a slow-roasted prime rib carving station, and a raw seafood bar consisting of shrimp, oysters, and crab legs.

Four Entertainment Group Offers Marathon Runner Discount

Chicago Marathon runners can cheers to their accomplishment with Four Entertainment Group (4EG) at aliveOne, Easy Bar, Estelle's, Remedy and The Owl.
All locations will offer $1 off regular priced drinks when runners show their marathon medal. The complete list of opening times is below:

Post Marathon Brunch and Bottomless Mimosas at Onward

To help runners refuel, Onward in Rogers Park invites guests to Sunday brunch beginning at 10 a.m. Highlights include a Duck Sausage Sandwich (caramelized onions, Gruyere, fried egg and potato hash; $15), Southern Crawfish Benedict (Old Bay hollandaise, Yukon potato hash; $17), Mama Maria's Chiliquiles (carnitast, salsa roja, cilantro, eggs any style; $15) and more. 

Guests can celebrate the runner in their group with a bottomless mimosa special for $15 (two hour limit with purchase of lunch or brunch specialty) or brunch cocktails including #NameThisCocktail (grapefruit margarita topped with sparkling rosé; $11), Sage's Legacy (Aperol, gin, angostura and lemon; $9), and the Perro Chingon (tequila, lime, bloody mary mix and Mexican beer; $10).

Runners who visit Parlay at Joy District after the marathon will enjoy a 26.2 percent discount for their entire group on any food items. The marathon runner must show their Runner ID number to receive the discount. Post Marathon Brunch at Play Kitchen & Cocktails

Located on the stretch of Division Street between State and Dearborn in Chicago's Gold Coast, Play is right off the Chicago Marathon route. Play has launched weekend brunch from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can choose from any five a la carte brunch items for $30 per person (pastries and coffee are included). Menu options from Executive Chef Melva Jarvis include waffles, cold crab legs, sauteed shrimp, French toast, eggs made your way, Texas toast, hash browns, sausage gravy, grits and more. A $20 bottomless mimosa option with a juice bar is also available.

Runners looking for a carbo load before the big race can take in a double portion of Rigatoni in a tomato basil sauce with meatballs for $29 at Torchio Pasta Bar in River North. To help runners prep, Torchio will open special hours from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 12. Additional pasta selections include the Bucatini Puttanesca (San Marzano plum tomato sauce, anchovies, capers, Gaeta olives; $18), Giovanna's Bolognese (Tagliatelle with bolognese in a parmesan basket; $25), Torchio Pasta (torch-shaped pasta with sausage and cremini mushrooms in a brandy, thyme, cream sauce; $20) and more.

Power up with Pasta at Tuscany on Taylor

Runners looking to power up with pasta before the Chicago Marathon can visit Tuscany on Taylor Street and enjoy $18 pasta specials on the Saturday night before the marathon. Chicago Marathon Viewing & Breakfast at Weber Grill Restaurant

Located just off the Chicago Marathon route at State and Ohio, Weber Grill Restaurant is a spot for viewers to grab a pre-race breakfast or a post-race lunch. Available from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Weber Grill offers a full breakfast buffet for $17.95 per person featuring bagels, danishes, muffins, scrambled eggs, French Toast, waffles, cherrywood smoked bacon, sausage, a chef's station with omelets, eggs to order and pancakes and more.

The Rose Hotel-Chicago O'Hare 

Marathon-goers staying at The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare receive 10 percent off any breakfast, lunch or dinner item from the lobby’s restaurant menu. Runners can carb load with one of the newest menu items – a pappardelle pasta dish with shrimp, tomato ragu, Grana Padano cheese, asparagus and kale. Runners simply need to show their race bib to receive the discount.

Offshore Rooftop & Bar

Navy Pier’s Offshore Rooftop & Bar is offering the Offshore Burger, a Miller High Life and a shot of Jameson for $15 to all runners who wear their medals after 3pm on Sunday October 13, 2019. 

Ocean Prime Chicago 

To celebrate all those participating in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Ocean Prime Chicago, the Magnificent Mile’s seafood and steak dining restaurant at 87 E. Wacker Drive, will be providing a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to each marathon runner on Sunday, October 13. Runners must show the physical copy of their bib number in order to redeem. 

The Westin Chicago River North 

In advance of Chicago’s Bank of America Marathon on Sunday, October 13, The Westin Chicago River North will be offering a special runner’s menu on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. Guests who dine will be offered carb-loaded options, including a Grain Bowl with quinoa, bulgur wheat, farro, kale, roasted corn, sweet potato, apple, dried cranberries, feta cheese, champagne vinaigrette and the option to add chicken or shrimp, and Potato Gnocchi with chicken sausage, roasted garlic, blistered tomatoes, spinach, peas and chardonnay beurre. The morning of the race on Sunday, October 13, the hotel will have a Grab & Go station in the lobby for runners to fuel up with fresh whole fruit, bottled water and granola bars.

Bobby’s Lincoln Park 

The contemporary American restaurant at 2518 N. Lincoln Ave, is offering runners and spectators alike an exclusive three course menu, available from October 11 through Sunday, October 13.

Runners can opt to carb up or enjoy a celebratory meal after those treacherous 26.2 miles with a special three course menu that includes a Shrimp and Crab Cevichewith tri-colored tortilla chips; a Bobby's Salad with mixed greens, red onion, bleu cheese, tomato, cucumber, roasted red pepper, cauliflower, hearts of palm, garbanzo bean, balsamic vinaigrette; and a Housemade Pappardelle Pastacomplete with seasonal vegetables, garlic, and a pomodoro sauce, for $26.20.

Additionally, those who show their medals on Sunday, October 13 will be offered a complimentary dessert or glass of wine.

Margeaux Brasserie

Runners, supporters and carb lovers alike can fuel up for Marathon Sunday with a pasta special at Margeaux Brasserie the previous night, Saturday October 12th. The following day Margeaux Brasserie will offer complimentary glasses of sparkling rosé for all marathon runners. 

Baptiste & Bottle

Within River North’s Conrad Chicago, Baptiste & Bottle will offer, on race day, 20% off food for brunch or dinner for a party of up to six guests. You must present your race bib. Additionally, Conrad Chicago guests registered to run the marathon can relax with a complimentary 10-minute massage at Baptiste & Bottle from 12 to 2 p.m. The massages are exclusive to hotel guests who show a race bib, along with a Conrad Chicago room key or confirmation email.    

Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea 

Fairground Coffee (12 S Michigan Ave) is offering Chicago Marathon participants 50 percent off their drink order for those who stop in the Michigan Ave cafe wearing their runner’s bib.

Il Culaccino 

McCormick Square's new Italian restaurant, located directly across street from McCormick Place West, invites Chicago marathon runners to stop by for a carb-filled pasta lunch or dinner when they pick up their race packets on October 11 and 12.   

They'll receive a free cannoli if they show their race packet.
