Tickets are now available for Chicago Gourmet's 2025 festival, scheduled for September 25–28 with preview events leading up through the main event. The event adopts the theme “Step Up to the Plate,” highlighting the connection between food and sports.

The festival takes place at the Harris Theater Rooftop at Millennium Park and venues across the city. Preview programming, branded the Culinary World Series, begins earlier in the summer with dinners and events.

The September schedule begins September 25 with Tacos & Tequila, hosted by chefs Rick Bayless and Marcos Carbajal, featuring tacos from local chefs and premium agave spirits. On September 26, Somm Sessions at Adalina Prime pairs wine with food and music, followed that evening by Hamburger Hop at the Harris Theater Rooftop, where chefs compete for top burger honors. Later that night, TAO Chicago hosts the Asian Late Night Market with bites and cocktails from chefs including Thai Dang.

On September 27, Grand Cru features afternoon and evening sessions led by chefs Stephanie Izard and Karen Akunowicz, each presenting cuisine paired with wine and spirits. The weekend closes September 28 with Rise & Shine Gourmet, a brunch hosted by Art Smith, Lorena Garcia, and Jernard Wells.

New additions in 2025 include Game Day Gourmet on July 25 at the Crosstown Classic, hosted by Kevin Hickey, and A Tribute to Jackie Robinson Dinner on August 20 at Virtue Restaurant, hosted by Erick Williams and Damarr Brown. Proceeds from the Robinson tribute benefit Virtue Leadership Development and the Illinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
