On Monday, June 26, Chef Sarah Grueneberg and Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio will host the Chicago No Kid Hungry Dinner presented by Citi, an exclusive multi-course event to benefit No Kid Hungry‘s work to end childhood hunger in America. The dinner will feature guest chefs Stephanie Izard of Girl & the Goat, Little Goat and Duck Duck Goat, Gavin Kaysen of Spoon & Stable and Bellecour, Sara Lamb of Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio, Ben Lustbader and Jason Vincent of Giant, and Lee Wolen of Boka, all united for a cause: making sure all children in this country have the healthy food they need, every day.
The dinner will be preceded by a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. and will feature a live auction in which guests can bid on a variety of luxury culinary and travel items. All proceeds from the event support No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger across the country and right here in Illinois.
