Charlie Trotter Days is an annual citywide event that returns on Thursday, August 15 - Sunday, August 18, 2019. It’s a time when America's food and beverage scenes honor Chef Charlie Trotter's culinary legacy. Now in its sixth year, the weeklong event has expanded from Chicago to cities across the country from New York, Los Angeles, and Boston.

"Charlie Trotter Days has become a time for the hospitality industry to remember Chef Charlie Trotter's legacy through their culinary talents," said Derrek Hull, Executive Director, The Trotter Project. "It's so exciting to see new cities embrace the program and to expand our reach, which directly impacts our scholarship program. Through the industry and public celebrating with us, we can fund more deserving scholars who are pursuing a career in the culinary field."

Charlie Trotter Days is a way for the industry and the public to come together to provide a pathway for students to have successful culinary and hospitality industry futures. Proceeds from the featured items support The Trotter Project's Pillars of Excellence Program, which educates, mentors, and provides scholarships for the next generation of culinary and hospitality talent. Chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists are tasked to create or highlight an existing offering that best exemplifies Chef Charlie Trotter's culinary philosophy.
