Combining two Piemonte region of Italy stables, Plin and Nutella, Chef/Owner Cameron Grant is welcoming guests with a limited time only sweet special paying tribute to his favorite region, and its favorite treat.
A historically clever solution to a shortage of cocoa in Piemonte following World War II, Nutella’s combination of hazelnut and chocolate has taken the world by storm. Chef Cameron embraces the day concocting a tribute locals won’t want to miss.
Chicagoans have come to know Plin, Piemonte’s pinched ravioli dish. On World Nutella Day, Chef Cameron puts a spin on this dish, filling the pillows of dough with Nutella for a special-edition dessert. Finished with a drizzle of raspberry simple syrup, diners transport to the Nutella factory in Piemonte with a new twist on the famous spread.
